Craft - NT: Life of Jesus: Calling of Levi - A 'John 3:16' door hanger

An easy to do craft idea about the Bible story of Jesus calling Levi and eating with sinners

Jesus calls Levi, a despised tax collector, to be his disciple and eats with him and other sinners, challenging societal norms and showing God's inclusive love and acceptance of all. We can find this Bible story in Mark 2: 13 - 17. Today we taught the Bible text John 3: 16 with the children. This door hanger is a nice memento of this beautiful Bible text.

This idea is part of a complete Sunday school lesson containing 14 ideas on Levi being called by Jesus in Mark 2: 13-17 and Luke 5: 27-32.
