Instructions

Form a circle: Gather all participants and form a circle. Ensure there's enough space in the centre for the web.

Start the web: Holding one end of the yarn, the leader starts by saying a prayer related to fellowship and unity in Christ. This could be a prayer for the group, for the church, or for all believers to embody unity.

Toss the yarn: After saying their prayer, the leader tosses the ball of yarn to another participant across the circle, while holding on to their end of the string.

Say a prayer: The participant who catches the yarn says their own prayer, again focusing on unity in Christ.

Continue the process: This process continues, with each person who receives the yarn saying a prayer, then tossing the yarn to someone else while holding on to their part of the string. This creates a web of yarn that physically represents the interconnecting prayers and unity of the group.

Conclusion

By the end of this activity, you'll be surrounded by a tangible web of prayers, a visual representation of the unity and interconnectedness within our faith community. Just like our Prayer Web, we are all interconnected through our shared faith, each prayer strengthening the bond that ties us together.
