79-3e879e3e Prayer idea - Lord's Prayer: What is your strength?

What you need:

  • a bowl with pebbles or other small stones

Let's start...

You are like this pebble

There is a bowl of pebbles on the table. Pick up one of the pebbles and warm it up between your hands. The stone is both very small, but very strong. You would need a lot of force to break this tiny piece of rock.

While holding onto the pebble, know that you are just like this rock. You have immense strength, despite the fact that you sometimes feel very small and ordinary.

Take the time to contemplate your strengths. What are you good at? When are you working within your strength? Thank God for the strength and talents he has given you and keep the pebble in your pocket as a reminder of your true capacities.
