Introduction: Start by explaining that the psalmist tells us God is pleased when we sing for Him. Discuss how singing about and to God helps us remember His presence even though He is invisible to us.

Crafting activity: Hand out a large sheet of A3 paper to each child.

Brainstorming God's characteristics: Ask the children to think of words that describe God. These could be words like great, loving, patient, faithful, and so on.

Invisible writing: Using a candle, ask the children to write these words on their paper. The wax from the candle will make the words nearly invisible.

Revealing the invisible: Then, using watercolour paint and a thick brush, have the children paint over their paper. Watch their faces light up as the previously invisible words emerge in bold colors against the paint!

Through this craft activity, we've learned that when we sing and talk about God, it's like we're painting over those invisible candle words with watercolour. Our words about God become visible, helping us to remember who He is. Similarly, our praise and worship make God's presence more tangible in our lives, reminding us of His greatness and His love.
