A lesson plan focusing on the Bible story in Ruth chapters 1 and 2, where we explore the journey of Ruth and her mother-in-law Naomi. Naomi, bereft of her husband and sons, decides to return to Bethlehem from Moab. Ruth, her Moabite daughter-in-law, insists on accompanying her, displaying loyalty with her famous declaration, "Where you go, I will go." In Bethlehem, to support Naomi and herself, Ruth gleans in the fields of Boaz, a relative of Naomi's late husband. Boaz notices Ruth's dedication and kindness, offering her protection and support.
