A lesson plan on Matthew 2: 1-12 in which three wise men (the three kings / magi) see a new star and know that a new special king is born. They travel to Jerusalem where they meet king Herod. Finally they reach Bethlehem and find Joseph, Mary and Jesus. They offer presents of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Each activity has been designed to encourage children to reflect on the key themes of the Bible passage, and to engage with the story in a fun and interactive way.
