A lesson plan on Luke 2: 8-20. In this passage, an angel of the Lord appears to shepherds in the fields near Bethlehem, announcing the birth of Jesus and declaring him the Savior, Christ the Lord. The shepherds then visit Mary, Joseph, and the newborn Jesus in the manger, spreading the word about what they were told about this child, and all who hear it are amazed. Each activity has been designed to encourage children to reflect on the key themes of the Bible passage, and to engage with the story in a fun and interactive way.
