Icebreaker - Show me the way
A fun icebreaker on the themes of teamwork, trusting and perseverance
In this icebreaker the children in your children's ministry can learn the importance of helping those around them. Sometimes there are other people/children who find things difficult. It is important to someone to help and support them so that they can keep going.
View the idea below...

What you need:
-
blindfold
-
paper
-
pens
Let's start...
Let me tell you what to draw
Divide the children into pairs. One of the two children is given a blindfold. The other child gets told by a volunteer whispering in his/her ear what the blindfolded child needs to draw. For example; a house, a car, a heart, a stick man, the sun (keep it easy). The child that is not blindfolded has to give clues to the other child about what they have to draw without actually naming the object that they need to draw on the paper.
Compliment the children for working well together, giving good clues, being good listeners and trusting each other. In addition tell the children that it is important to help others if they find something difficult.
