Welcome to Lesson 35, Year 2, of our 'Bible Adventure' children's ministry curriculum. This programme is flexible, allowing you to use the entire lesson plan as is or select specific activities to create a lesson that is tailored to your group.

In this lesson plan on Luke 24:13-35, two disciples meet the risen Jesus on the road to Emmaus, but they do not recognize Him at first. It is only when He breaks the bread during the meal that they recognize Him, after which He disappears. The disciples immediately return to Jerusalem to tell the others what has happened.
