Welcome to Lesson 29, Year 1, of our 'Bible Adventure' children's ministry curriculum. This programme is flexible, allowing you to use the entire lesson plan as is or select specific activities to create a lesson that is tailored to your group. In this lesson, we focus on the Bible story where Jesus goes to pray in the Garden of Gethsemane and his friends fall asleep. Shortly after, he is betrayed by his friend Judas with a kiss, and his friend Peter denies him three times in the courtyard of the high priest's house.
