Welcome to Lesson 24, Year 1, of our 'Bible Adventure' children's ministry curriculum. This programme is flexible, allowing you to use the entire lesson plan as is or select specific activities to create a lesson that is tailored to your group. In this lesson, we focus on the Bible story where the Holy Spirit leads Jesus into the wilderness. Here, Jesus fasts for forty days, after which the devil tries to tempt him in three different ways. Jesus resists him with words from God's Word, after which the devil leaves him alone, and angels care for him.
