Samuel is the last judge of Israel and a prophet of God. At a young age, he hears God's voice calling him. As an adult, Samuel leads the people to several victories over the Philistines. Later in life, the people of Israel want a king instead of a judge. Samuel anoints two kings: Saul and David.
