The Bible story of Joshua and the Jordan River is found in Joshua chapters 3 and 4. As the Israelites prepared to enter the promised land, they came to the Jordan River, which was in flood stage. God instructed Joshua to have the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant step into the river, and as soon as they did, the waters dried up and the Israelites crossed the river on dry ground. Joshua then instructed twelve men to take twelve stones from the riverbed and set them up as a memorial on the other side of the river.
This story teaches us about the power of faith and obedience, and the importance of remembering God's miracles and provisions. It also reminds us that God is faithful to His promises and can overcome any obstacle in our lives.
