Creative activities based on the Bible story of Baby Moses in a basket in the Nile
The Bible story of Moses in the basket is found in Exodus chapter 2. Moses was born at a time when the Israelites, God's chosen people, were being treated very harshly by the Egyptians. Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, had ordered that all male Hebrew babies be killed. Moses' mother didn't want her baby to be killed, so she put him in a basket and set him afloat on the river. Miraculously, the basket floated to where Pharaoh's daughter was bathing, and she took Moses as her own son.
This story teaches us about the power of God's protection and how He can use even difficult situations to bring about good in our lives.
