Abram, a man of great faith, received a call from God to leave his home in Ur and travel to a land that God promised to show him. He obeyed, taking his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, and all their possessions on the journey. Upon reaching the land of Canaan, God appeared to Abram and promised to give the land to his offspring. In response, Abram built an altar there and worshiped the Lord. He continued his journey, going from place to place, and wherever he stopped, he built an altar to worship God. Abram's obedience and faithfulness in following God's commands paved the way for God to bless him abundantly.
