Creative activities based on the Bible story of Council of Jerusalem
In Acts 15:1-31 we find the Bible story of the meeting in Jerusalem. After the spread of the gospel message to the Gentiles, some of the Jewish believers were concerned about the way in which it was being shared. They held a meeting in Jerusalem to discuss the matter, and Peter shared how he had been directed by the Holy Spirit to preach to Cornelius and his household. The meeting ended with a decision to accept the Gentile believers and to welcome them into the early church. This story teaches children about the importance of unity and how we can work together, despite our differences, to share the message of Jesus' love and forgiveness with everyone.
