Reflect on inclusion, kindness, and how we treat others
This prayer activity encourages children to reflect on inclusion, kindness, and how they treat others who are new or different in their environment, inspired by the Biblical story of Ruth and Boaz. Using simple traffic signs as metaphors, children will understand the importance of welcoming others, just as Boaz welcomed Ruth.
This idea is part of a complete Sunday school lesson based on Ruth chapters 1 and 2, which tell the story of Naomi and Ruth returning to Israel and Boaz caring for Ruth.
