A tree full of gratitude, prayer, and reminders of God’s loving care
In this prayer activity, children create a large tree full of leaves on which they write or draw what they want to say to God about His love. Together it becomes a visual prayer, a growing reminder that God’s love always provides shade and comfort.
This idea is part of a complete Sunday school lesson based on Jonah chapters 3 and 4, which tell the story of the repentance of Nineveh, Jonah's frustration at this, the plant and the worm.
