Object lesson - Start Sunday: Start Sunday surprise bag
Discover your place in the church through a simple object
This is a fun and thoughtful activity where children take turns picking an object from a surprise bag. Each object represents something meaningful about being part of the church - like connection, trust, light, or purpose. After choosing, the group reflects together: what could this object say about your role in the church this year?
