Choosing between your feelings and forgiveness
Sometimes we get the chance to be kind and forgiving, even when it’s hard. That’s exactly what Jonah experienced! God asked him to go to Nineveh, but Jonah didn’t think it was fair that God wanted to forgive such bad people. Today we’ll think about situations where we must choose: follow our feelings or choose love and forgiveness.
This idea is part of a complete Sunday school lesson based on Jonah chapters 1 and 2, which tell the story of Jonah who flees from God's task and spends three days in a big fish.
