Bring the stormy sea - and Jonah’s stormy feelings - to life
Jonah experienced not only a storm at sea but also a storm of emotions. In this creative activity, children make a ‘storm in a bag’ - a mini ocean that shows both what happened outside and what was going on inside Jonah.
This idea is part of a complete Sunday school lesson based on Jonah chapters 3 and 4, which tell the story of the repentance of Nineveh, Jonah's frustration at this, the plant and the worm.
