Bible Adventure: Lesson 31 - Jesus, Barabbas and Pontius Pilate
Create your own programme using our PDF lesson plan and all the individual ideas.
Welcome to Lesson 31, Year 2, of our 'Bible Adventure' children's ministry curriculum. This programme is flexible, allowing you to use the entire lesson plan as is or select specific activities to create a lesson that is tailored to your group. In this lesson plan on Luke 23:1-23, Jesus is brought before Pilate and accused of inciting the people and claiming to be the Messiah, a king. Despite Pilate's attempts to release Him, and even offering the option to free Barabbas, a convicted criminal, instead of Jesus, the crowd continues to demand that Jesus be crucified, leading to His condemnation and the path to His suffering and crucifixion.
